The Simple Life, 2017
The Simple Life was created during a period of self-discovery and life changing decisions. I was getting so tired of this artificial landscape we inhabit. I was born in one of the top industrial-business cities of Mexico, Monterrey. Opportunities come to those with good connections and social status. It's an exhausting life, in all its senses. On New Years 2017, I made the promise to myself that I was going to search for a more simple life - and so I did.
This artwork represents my life's willingness to search for my soul’s desires. Standing in awe at the middle of that unknown field, struggling balancing my emotional world and the real world, looking at a dream that has now become a reality. In 2018 I created this artwork without knowing I was creating a life path.
