The Simple Life

Artwork Story:

The Simple Life was created during a period of self-discovery and life changing decisions. I was getting so tired of this artificial landscape we inhabit.

I was born in one of the top industrial-business cities of Mexico, Monterrey. Opportunities come to those with good connections and social status. It's an exhausting life, in all its' senses.

On New Years 2017, I made the promise to myself that I was going to search for a more simple life - and so I did.

This artwork represents my life's willingness to search for my soul’s desires.

I am that astronaut, in the middle of a field, standing in awe, struggling with decision making, balancing the heart and the mind (two sheep) looking at what is now my home.

In 2018 I created this artwork without knowing I was creating a life path.
