Beautifully Broken, 2020

Days were hypnagogic.

When I created Beautifully Broken I thought I was not really conscious about how little by little my mind was beginning to break.

I had this print framed and hung for some time at the entrance of our bathroom. One day, after a good shower-crying session, I came out of the bathroom, stepped in front of the artwork, and said to myself: “Her eyes looked just like mine when I cry.”
